<p>Brian Meier is a chef with 25 years experience  cooking in many respected and established Rhode Island restaurants such  as Al Forno, New Rivers, Cafe Itri, Trinity Brewhouse, and most recently  Bacaro Restaurant. Previously he co-owned and was the head chef of the  Tuscany Grille in North Providence.</p>
<p>Brian&#8217;s formal training is in classical French  cooking and he is a 1988 graduate from The Culinary Institute of  America. He is a constant explorer of food &#8211; looking for inspiration in  many different cultures to create combinations that excite his  creativity as a chef. Brian can be found in his off-cooking time in some  of RI&#8217;s finest Italian restaurants as well as sampling ethnic  restaurants and food trucks in search for interesting things to eat.</p>
<p>He originally found his passion for cooking at an  early age while attending Cranston West&#8217;s vocational school. While in  high school, he received a Gold Medal from the Vocational Industrial  Clubs of America, a Rhode Island Distinguished Merit Certificate from  the Rhode Island Board of Regents Food Service and he also a won a  prestigious Silver Medal from the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America  during the United States Skills Olympics Commercial Food Trades in  Phoenix, Arizona.</p>
