Welcome to Trattoria Simpatico, one of southern Rhode Island’s most well-loved restaurants. We specialize in high-quality, fresh foods, prepared elegantly and served by a friendly, professional staff.
We are open year round, and offer outdoor dining in a heated tented area even in the middle of winter! In summer we also offer expanded open-air outdoor seating, with a busy copper-topped bar and tables in beautiful, landscaped surroundings. Of course, if you prefer, we always have classic indoor dining available in our main dining room or our garden room.
Since 1993, Proprietor Phyllis Bedard has dedicated herself to creating a fun, casual and welcoming environment for her guests to enjoy a great meal and good company. Often selected as a romantic spot, we’ve hosted a number of engagements, first dates and ongoing romances, in addition to making a fun and friendly atmosphere for friends and family to gather and enjoy good conversation and great food. And those romances… have often blossomed into wedding receptions, showers and holiday gatherings also hosted at Simpatico (be sure to see our Events and Catering Section)!
Under the leadership of Executive Chef Chris Carruba, the Simpatico kitchen produces some of the most innovative and delicious meals in the area. Using many local and natural ingredients, Chef Carruba creates dishes that delight your palette and make you want to come back for more.
